Rebecca Madeira is a multidisciplinary artist, collaborator, and educator - dedicated to telling stories from the heart.
She believes in expanding the ways we express ourselves as creators, rather than confining ourselves to a single medium or style.
As an actor and musician, her work spans across musical theatre, opera, choral works, and folk music - travelling to theaters, concert halls, churches, recording studios, gardens, and art galleries in the U.S. and abroad. She is especially passionate about new works and inventive, ensemble-based storytelling.
Offstage, she has worked as a director and composer in educational theatre and devised theatrical pieces. She’s even collaborating with her sister Emily on some upcoming video games.
She is also a teaching artist and private vocal coach, and she strives to help students develop their own unique voice and use it express themselves truthfully and healthily.
In her spare time, you can find her playing Dungeons and Dragons, drawing, or making mediocre pottery. She also makes a mean French onion soup.
